THE DISH

Arriving into Poland around the 13th century, pierogi were probably imported from the Far East via eastern neighbors such as Kievian Rus (today's Ukraine), perhaps thanks to Hyacinth of Poland, a monk in Kiev who became patron saint of the pierogi.

Gather up your family and friends (it takes a village) and make pierogi from scratch!
