Kids Cultural Cooking (9-14yrs)

Reignite your childs curiosity, let them meet new friends and get their hands dirty all while learning about other cultures. They'll experiment with new skills including hand cooking, proper hygiene and basic safety in the kitchen.

Our objectives are to empower, enable and educate the next generation. We want to share the wonderful joy of making a successful dish, tasting all your hard work and sharing the experience with your family and friends, as well as learning cool and interesting things about the history and culture behind each dish.

Parents are very welcome to stay, help and observe, especially if your child is younger.

Lunch: Blini - Savory Russian Crepes with mushroom/potato filling
Dessert: Sweet Russian Crepes with sweet fillings

Printable recipes will be provided 4 days before the workshop date to help jog your little one's memory, including what needs to be prepped if you are cooking along.

A Song List tailored to each class will also be provided that your little chef can play in the background or before the demo to get them in that lovely cultural cooking mood!

ABOUT OUR CHEFS

MARIA ROZYNSKA | POLAND/IRELAND/ITALY
Having lived in Poland, Ireland and Italy, founder and owner of Just Be Cooking Maria Rozynska has immersed herself in all things cultural.  Through her Cultural Cooking School Just Be Cooking, Maria now teaches others how to make traditional dishes, while inviting other cultures to do the same in order to keep alive family recipes and traditions slowly fading with the passing of older generations.

DORIS FIN | RUSSIA
Global Chef Doris Fin has educated her palate and refined her skills for nearly two decades. With her Russian roots, she specializes in plant-based (mostly plants, not plant-only) culinary arts, caters retreats and teaches interactive culinary classes, while encouraging people to support locals and inspire them to cook their own meals. www.chefdorisfin.com
