This Workshop is part of our Delicious World Desserts workshop series.
Whether you roll your Rum Balls in cocoa powder or dip them in melted chocolate topped with sprinkles is up to you, either way, these Russian Kartoshka Rum Balls are sure to be a crowd pleasure! In this fun hands-on class, guests will focus on how to make the perfect Kartoshka Rum Ball, perfect for entertaining or as a gift this time of year!
Your instructor for the evening is award-winning Chef Doris Fin, a plant-based culinary chef who loves recreating her favourite foods from her Russian roots. Doris is currently working on a cookbook and traveling for her documentary film series featuring food of the world with top chefs and farmers.
A light dinner will be served at the end of the class prepared by the chef. And for dessert? Russian Rum Balls ofcourse!
A live musical performance by local Russian musicians will accompany the dinner.
Each workshop lasts approximately 3 hours. This includes the Cooking Class, Communal Meal and Live Music. We always start on time so make sure to give yourself some extra time for parking, walking over, etc.
FOUR different desserts from FOUR different cultures will be learned by the end of the month! Printed recipes will be provided as well as leftovers to take home and of course memories to last a lifetime.
