This Kid's Cultural Cooking Camp is a Week-long, Full-day Kid's Cooking Camp for children ages 4-8 yrs.

Your child will attend five different Kid's Workshops, each one based on a unique and fascinating culture, and taught by a lively, informed and engaging Host. Over the course of 6 hours each day they will learn to make two very tasty dishes - a simple light Lunch (morning) and a Dessert (afternoon).

During this exciting week your child will explore 5 different cultures, one per day.

Your child will discover their curiosity, meet new friends and get their hands dirty all while learning about other cultures through that cultures food with an experienced chef from that heritage. They'll experiment with new skills including hand cooking, proper hygiene and basic safety in the kitchen.

TEN different dishes from FIVE different cultures will be learned by the end of the week! Printed recipes will be provided to help jog your little one's memory 🙂

The class will sit down for a communal meal and actually eat what they've made!

Lunch meal served for lunch. Dessert served for afternoon snack.

Once our young chefs have completed their two dishes its time to eat! This is where the workshop really comes into its own, as the class sit down and eat what they've prepared. Don't worry if your child is sometimes unlucky in the kitchen - our Hosts closely supervise the students and will ensure that each has made a tasty, nutritious meal, as well as having extra on hand (just in case).

Any left overs can be packed up and brought home to show off and share with the rest of the family!

With this Kids Cultural Camp our objectives are to empower, enable and educate the next generation. We want to share the wonderful joy of making a successful dish, tasting all your hard work and sharing the experience with your friends, as well as learning cool and interesting things about the history and culture behind each dish.

We'd be delighted to explore the fun of cooking with your child 🙂

TICKETS NOTE

We have two types of tickets available:

FULL WEEK @ $375 for ALL FIVE workshops. (Includes morning snack, lunch and dessert).

DROP-INs @ $80 per Workshop. (Includes morning snack, lunch and dessert).

The Full Week ticket is a nice deal and very competitively priced within Toronto. Even so, we understand that not everyone can make it for 5 days in a row or afford the full price, so we also offer the Drop-In tickets. These are the exact same events, with nothing reduced, lessened or removed. Make certain you choose the correct Ticket for your child.
