In this 2 hour special, Chef Maria Rozynska, founder of Just Be Cooking, will lead you through the process of mixing, rolling, filling, boiling & frying homemade pierogi from start to finish. Learn how to make perfect pierogi dough, cook up the most delicious fillings, plus how to seal your pierogi like a pro, all as Maria shows you how to master one of her go-to Polish dishes.    


Cook along or sit back, sip something nice and just watch!

Maria Rozynska
Originally from Poland, founder and owner of Just Be Cooking Maria Rozynska  grew up in an environment where great food and great music was the norm. It wasn’t until she left home to do her Masters Degree in Education & Training that she realized how good she had it. That's when she started exploring home cooking again, a skill that gives each of us the ability to recreate recipes we've grown up with our whole lives. Since 2010 she’s been eagerly teaching everything she knows about cooking food from her background, with an ever growing fanbase. The journey has taken her to host countless Cooking Workshops, Supper Clubs & Drop-In Dinners across Toronto. She also had the honor of being 1 of 5 Chefs invited by Ken Lum as part of his Dumplings Around the World exhibit at Nuit Blanche. Since opening her cooking school in 2017, Maria has had the opportunity to train many chefs eager to share their heritage with her audience.  It was through this training that she discovered the hidden secrets behind great tasting food. Her goal has always been the same; get as many people around the table as possible. Because, at the end of the day, regardless of culture, all we want is the same thing: good food and good music to feed our soul.
