Food prepared at Le Baratin is indeed classic with a modern twist.

Classic in a sense of ‘old school’: their sauces are all made in-house, with a veal-based stock. These days, that is very rare. Jean likes the good old way of preparing food - truly, the proper way!
Chef Jean Regis landed in Toronto, Canada 7 years ago with one piece of luggage and full of dreams. 

Now owner and chef of Le Baratin, Jean wants to share with you his passion of food and l’art de vivre, the art of life, in a truly French way!
There is decent street parking in the general area (always check the street signs!). If you don't mind a solid 5-10 min walk then you can also park at 'Green P' west at Ossington & Dundas.
The #505 Streetcar ("Carlton") stops immediately adjacent to Le Baratin.
